First I’d like to say that this job was challenging and packed with obstacles that most designers/artists would have run from. Crystal has worked for me, painting both my home and my office. She has a keen eye for color, and her attention to detail is outstanding. In my office, she did a faux wood treatment on the metal door that actually makes the door look like wood and not a treatment applied to metal. The rich gold with chocolate accents has created a warmth in my office that is the envy of my colleagues (who mostly have stark white walls). At home she found the right mix of shades of blue and green to compliment each other in the dining and living room areas. The colors are historically appropriate (the house was built in 1840), flatter the artwork, and are soothing rather than cold (which often happens with blue and green). Her prices are incredibly reasonable, and I would not hesitate to hire again the next time I need some interior painting and design work done. She accomplished the work on or ahead of schedule and was always pleasant and professional.

Crystal did a fabulous job of working with us to redo our kitchen. We loved the original faux finish but it was time for a change -- we wanter a bolder, more eye-popping look but not garish. It took some time to arrive at the exact look because we weren't sure but Crystal was patient and methodically helped us to narrow our choices over several iterations that involved multiple color palettes, several visits and a lot of agonizing (on our part). The result is stunning and exactly what we wanted. The work was meticulous, down to the trim and wall plates and met all of our expectations.
